Service Description
Learn the essential skill of baby massage to support your baby’s overall development, including physical, cognitive, and social development, as well as digestive health. This practice also deepens your bond and promotes joint wellbeing. Course details: Dates/time: Weds 8th-29th Jan/1.15-2pm Venue: Chobham Manor Community Centre, 1-3 Brevet Parade, Honour Lea Ave, Chobham Manor E20 1LF (Plenty of paid parking available less than 10 mins away at Stratford International Car Park and Westfield) The course will: • Teach you the full baby massage routine building slowly week on week. • Teach proven techniques to help with your baby’s overall development. • Support you to learn how to remedy common ailments in babies; such as colic, trapped wind, constipation and teething pain. • Promote relaxation for you and your baby, allowing you to bond with your baby in the most wonderful way. • Parents are invited to do some gentle intention setting and breath work at the start of the classes. • Provide a space for local parents to meet and connect. Please note: Baby Massage is safe to practice from birth. We recommend that babies are over 6 weeks old before beginning baby massage so that mum/baby have had their post-birth check up- however if you are feeling well/healthy we are happy for you to come along before this. Baby Massage is suitable for babies all the way up until they are on the move (crawling). What’s included/what to bring: • 4 weeks of face-to-face teaching with a fully qualified instructor. • An email sent out before with advice on which oils to buy and how to prepare for the course. • A handy visual handout is provided with every massage move to support practicing at home. • Bring a blanket, your babies fav toy and a natural, organic oil (full details sent in booking confirmation).
