Service Description

Baby Yoga draws on some inspiration from traditional yoga teaching and uses gentle stretches, movement and interactive play/singing for parents to do with their baby. Our Baby Yoga courses incorporate over clothes massage, breathing techniques, baby reflexology, stretching and movements for baby (and a few for you!) as well as interactive songs and sensory play. Supporting your baby with their physical, developmental, cognitive and social development. Playful interactions also support parent-baby bonding, helping to build trust and confidence, as well as opportunities to meet/connect with other local parents. Course details: Dates/time: Tues 4th Feb- 4th March (no class 18th Feb due to half term)/10.15-11am Venue: It Takes A Village Play Cafe, Unit 2, 152 Billet Road, Walthamstow E17 5DT Experience our 5 Star Google rated courses at It Takes A Village- where style, comfort and fun come together, all with a side of great coffee. YAS! Please make sure that you and baby have both had your 6-8 week check before attending our class. Baby Yoga is safe to practice from this point and is suitable for babies all the way up until they are crawling. Best for babies that are 2-3 months plus. Ticket is for 1 parent and 1 baby. Please message if you would like someone to attend with you as we need to ensure there is space. Twin parents you are welcome to book under 1 ticket if it is just one parent attending. If both are attending, please book two tickets as you will require a space each. What’s included: • 4 weeks of face-to-face teaching with a fully qualified instructor • No special equipment needed, however we advise bringing a blanket & wearing suitable clothing to move around freely in.
