However, this training is designed for those who feel confident working with parents and babies - whether that comes from professional experience or lived experience.

Many of our students come from backgrounds such as:

Birth workers (doulas, antenatal/postnatal practitioners)
Massage therapists or holistic practitioners

What can I expect to learn on the Baby Massage/Baby Yoga Instructor Course?

By the end of the course, you won’t just know baby massage and/or baby yoga.
 You’ll know how to teach it, adapt it, and build something meaningful with it.

Inside the training, you’ll develop:
A deep understanding — beyond the surface
 You’ll explore the principles, history, and science-backed benefits of baby massage and baby yoga, so you can confidently explain why it matters - not just how to do it.

The ability to support babies and parents in a meaningful way
 From nervous system regulation and bonding, to movement, strength, sleep, digestion, and emotional development - you’ll understand how your classes create real impact in those early months.

Knowledge of infant development
 So you can confidently adapt your sessions to different ages, stages, and individual needs - without second guessing yourself.

The skills to run safe, professional, trusted classes
 Including health and safety, contraindications, environment setup, and best practice - so parents feel confident in you from the moment they walk in.

Practical tools to support common infant challenges
 Such as colic, reflux, constipation, wind, unsettled sleep, and physical development - using gentle, responsive techniques parents can take home and actually use.

Strong, confident teaching skills
 You’ll learn how to communicate clearly, manage a group, read the room, and create a calm, supportive space - even when babies are doing their own thing.

The full routines - taught properly
 Both baby massage and baby yoga are broken down step-by-step, so you can deliver them with ease, clarity, and confidence.

Everything you need to get started
 Including lesson plans, intake forms, feedback templates, and risk assessments - so you’re not left figuring it out on your own after qualifying.

How do I become a certified Baby Massage/Baby Yoga Instructor?

Accepted Answer

To become a certified Baby Massage and/or Baby Yoga Instructor, you’ll complete a blend of theory, practical learning, and real-life teaching experience - designed to build your confidence step by step (not just tick boxes). Both qualifications follow the same structure, so you can complete one or both with ease.

1. Pre-course learning
 You’ll begin with a short theory exam covering key foundations - including benefits, history, and infant development.
This gives you the why behind everything you’ll go on to teach.

2. Practical training (two options)
In-person training:
 Attend a 5-hour hands-on training day where you’ll learn:
The full baby massage and/or baby yoga routines
How to structure and deliver a class
Teaching techniques, communication, and group management
You’ll be supported and gently assessed on your technique, confidence, and ability to create a calm, safe, nurturing space.

OR
Semi-distance (from home):
 Complete your training flexibly at home by:
Working through the online modules
Uploading video submissions of the routines for feedback
Booking a 1:1 call with your assessor before moving on to teaching
Same qualification. Same support. Just built around your life.

3. Reflection & lesson planning
 Within 12 weeks, you’ll submit:
A reflective journal
Two lesson plans
This is where everything starts to click — helping you feel fully prepared to lead your own classes.

4. Real teaching experience (your final step)
 You’ll run your own free 4-week baby massage or baby yoga course within your community (minimum 4 families).
This is your “real world” practice - and where your confidence grows the most.
You’ll then submit:
Weekly reflections
Attendance register
Parent feedback forms (min. 4)
Promotional materials
A final reflection on your experience
This practical element ensures you feel ready, not just “certified.”

Ongoing support
 You’re not left to figure it out alone.
You’ll have:
Email support
Optional Zoom check-ins
Guidance throughout your training and teaching practice

 This isn’t just about passing a course.
 It’s about becoming a confident, capable instructor who can go out and run beautiful, successful classes - in baby massage, baby yoga, or both.

Yes - absolutely. Both our Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Instructor courses are fully accredited and professionally recognised. This means that once you’ve qualified, you’ll be able to obtain insurance and begin teaching with confidence.

This isn’t just a certificate for the sake of it.
It’s a qualification that enables you to operate as a fully insured, professional instructor - whether that’s running your own classes, hiring venues, or working within community, education, or wellbeing settings.

Once qualified, you’ll be able to:
Obtain appropriate instructor insurance
Run your own baby massage and/or baby yoga classes
Hire venues and work professionally with families
Build your own business or integrate this into your current role

Do I need any equipment for the face to face training day?

For the in-person training day, you’ll just need a few simple essentials:
A demonstration doll (to practise the routines)
A yoga mat
A notebook and pen
A water bottle

That’s it - we keep it simple so you can focus on learning, practising, and building your confidence.

For the semi-distance option:
 You’ll need the same items at home, as you’ll be practising the routines and recording video assessments as you progress through the course.

✨ The key thing to know:
 There’s no need for lots of equipment or a big upfront investment.
You can start simple - and build your setup over time as you begin teaching your own classes.

Can I run classes in my local area after qualifying?

Accepted Answer

Yes 🤍 Most of our students go on to run beautiful classes in their own communities.

We’ll guide you on choosing the right location, timings and set-up so you feel confident and set up for success from the start.

Do I have to be based in the UK to take the course?

Accepted Answer

Not at all – our semi-distance "train from anywhere" route was designed so you can qualify no matter where in the world you're based. You'll complete all your learning online through our modules, submit videos of your teaching practice for assessment, and have a 1:1 call with your personal assessor, so there's no need to travel or attend any sessions in person. All you need is a reliable internet connection and a willingness to learn!

Question 8

How does the semi-distance "train from anywhere" option actually work?

Accepted Answer

You'll work through 10 comprehensive online modules (89 lessons and around 2.5 hours of video content) at your own pace, with 12 months' access so you can fit it around your life wherever you are. Once you've completed the modules, you'll submit videos of yourself teaching for assessment, complete a written assessment, and have a 1:1 call with your personal assessor for feedback before you qualify. Your tutor is on hand to support you throughout – no travel or in-person attendance required.
